I am keen self-taught cook, food creator and writer. My philosophy and approach to cooking and eating comes from little restriction and an abundance of different food groups and flavours.

I wake up thinking about food and go to sleep hungry for more.


Based in Melbourne, Australia (aka. the multicultural and arguably foodie capital of the country), I am lucky enough to have been exposed to a range of cuisines and because of this, my taste buds extend far and wide.

Not only do I love to spend my time in the kitchen cooking and creating… but I equally love to travel, experiencing new cultures, all the while creating content to showcase each place through its local cuisines, restaurants, produce markets and unassuming groovy venues.

Food is my religion.

In creating this space, I am hoping to not only provide an insight into what the world of food has to offer to those not yet acquainted, but also provide an accessible point of entry to those wanting to get into the kitchen, learn more about how to pair flavours, cook with interesting ingredients and produce a meal that will have those around you thinking they’ve sat down & immersed themselves in flavours and dishes straight out of a damn good restaurant.

From the boujee to the basic bite.

Alex is based in Melbourne, Australia. She spends much of her time in the kitchen, cooking, creating and sharing food with those around her.

When she’s not there, you’ll find her travelling to new places, meeting new people, all while discovering and sharing the best food and wine with those far and wide.
